Tour Description:
Deputy Division Commander for the Mississippi Valley Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, an organization of nearly 5,000 civilian and military professionals providing world-class water resource engineering solutions for across several core missions including navigation, flood risk management, environmental stewardship, and emergency response. The division’s work is carried out by district offices located in St. Paul, Minnesota; Rock Island, Illinois; St. Louis, Missouri; Memphis, Tennessee; Vicksburg, Mississippi; and New Orleans, Louisiana. Secretary of the Mississippi River Commission providing water resources engineering direction and policy advice to the Administration, Congress, and the U.S. Army across the drainage basin which impacts 41% of the United States and includes 1.25 million square miles, over 250 tributaries, 31 states, and two Canadian provinces. Chief of Staff and supervisor for national-level office support and emergency management personnel at the Division headquarters. Serves as the Division Commander in their absence.

Qualifications: Army Engineer Officer; USACE experience; Facility or Asset Management experience; battalion commander; executive officer; chief of staff.
