The SmartVoucher makes it easier for Army active duty Soldiers to complete travel vouchers error-free. It guides you step-by-step through a series of questions and upon completion, it will generate a completed DD Form 1351-2 travel voucher. The SmartVoucher ensures that all required fields on the voucher are filled.
To access SmartVoucher, you need your myPay username and password or CAC card. SmartVoucher can only be used for vouchers that are not processed in the Defense Travel System (DTS). And, it is intended for use when completing military PCS vouchers, not for civilian relocation moves.
In an effort to ensure that you include the required supporting documentation, SmartVoucher provides a checklist of necessary items based on your responses to the questions within the application. SmartVoucher does not currently offer the ability to digitally sign your voucher or attach all required documentation.
Read the Where to Submit page to ensure that you submit your travel voucher and all required supporting documents to the appropriate DFAS office. You can upload your claim securely online, with the
new Travel Voucher Direct. Or, if you prefer, you can still fax, mail or email your travel claim.
