Military retiree pay verifications now available via myPay

INDIANAPOLIS (September 29, 2014) – Getting the paperwork together for a loan application can get complicated, especially for mortgages and other high value loans that require verification of pay your payroll office. myPay has made this a lot easier for military retirees who can now download official pay verification statements without calling, mailing or faxing requests to the Defense Finance and Accounting Service.

Whether it’s a loan, business transaction or some legal proceeding, military retirees with a myPay account can get an official pay verification statement on DFAS letterhead to print from the convenience of their own home.

The myPay pay management system is available to all military retirees and features tools to view pay statements, download IRS 1099R tax statements, name or change beneficiaries, set state and federal income tax withholding, manage active allotments and more.

Instructions for updating passwords or log in ID are available on the myPay homepage. Information on the latest features in myPay is online at http://www.dfas.mil/mypayinfo.html.
