Your important documents can be delivered quicker and safer electronically through your myPay account. Tax documents, account statements and other information affecting your finances are available at your convenience by opting in for electronic delivery. By changing your documents to electronic-only you get 24/7 access and immediately add a layer of protection to your personal information. Go Electronic...safer, quicker and it saves money!
Did You Know You Can Opt-in for Electronic Delivery?
Your branch of service or agency may already require paperless delivery for some of your documents while there are other documents that you must choose your delivery preference.
What documents can be changed to electronic-only delivery?
- Pay statements, including Leave and Earnings Statements and Annual Retiree Account Statements
- Tax documents, including W-2, 1099-INT, and 1099-R
- Civilian debt notification letters
Turning on electronic delivery in myPay is easy!
Just follow these steps:
1. Log in to myPay.

2. If you have multiple myPay accounts (military, retiree or civilian), select the account you wish to change using the Select an Account link at the top of the page.
3. Select Turn on/off hard copy statements. Statements associated with your account will be displayed. Slide buttons will show current preference (on for hardcopy, off for electronic-only delivery).
4. Make selections by sliding button right (hardcopy) or left (electronic delivery).
5. It will take 3-7 business days for changes to be reflected by the pay system. Until that happens, your original preferences will remain whenever you view this page.
