Adding An Authorized User
There may be times you need to share your myPay account with a trusted friend or family member. Remember whoever you authorize limited access to is up to you. Remember, to protect your account. DFAS will never request access to your account via mail, email or text message.
What is Limited Access?
You can provide an authorized user with limited access to your myPay account. Limited access should only be given to those you know and trust.
Limited Access users can:
View leave and earnings statement
View tax statement
Limited Access users can not:
Make any pay changes
How do I Grant Limited Access to an Authorized User?
Sometimes finances take serious coordination. Now you can make life a little simpler. Just follow these steps to get started:
1. Log in to
myPay.

2.
Select Personal Settings.
3. Select Limited Access Account from the left menu.
4. Create your new Limited Access Login ID and password.
The Limited Access Password will expire every 150 days. The authorized user will be prompted to change it when he or she accesses myPay and the password has reached its 150-day expiration.
If an authorized user suspends their Limited Access Password, you must establish a new Limited Access Password following the steps above and provide that new Password to the user.
How do I Remove Limited Access from an Authorized User?
1. Log in to
myPay.

2.
Select Personal Settings.
3. Select Limited Access Account from the left menu.
4. Select the Delete Your Limited Access Account button.
