It is designed to prepare you for your future role as a leader at DFAS. The program provides you with the opportunity to contribute to one or more functional areas while receiving important training on many aspects of our business. You gain an understanding of the scope of our services, have the opportunity to make an impact, and meet many colleagues and members of leadership who can help you develop your career with DFAS.

Highlights and program opportunities include: 

• Training on topics such as government accounting and auditing, project management, process improvement and many others. 
• Professional development through peer and leadership presentations and annual leadership development conferences.
• Feedback and guidance from a mentor and peer advisor.       
• Volunteer outside of day-to-day work which will allow you to contribute to the organization in many ways.       
• Earn a Master's degree and/or professional certification.         
• Network with peers as well as senior leaders.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens. The ideal candidate will have maintained a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 while demonstrating involvement and leadership. Candidates should have or be close to completing a bachelor's or other advanced degree.
