The Financial Management Education and Training (FMET) program at DFAS offers a wide variety of financial management training courses designed specifically for the Agency as well as governmental accounting. Courses are available in topics such as budgeting, resource management, auditing and financial management systems. Many courses offer continuing professional education credits by taking FMET courses.

Financial Management Network Online

Financial Management Network (FMN) is a video magazine designed to present the latest in financial and accounting news, knowledge, and expertise. The program allows accounting professionals to earn up to 4 CPE credits per month. DFAS employees have access to the FMN Online training via the Internet at work or at home.

Financial Management Certifications

DFAS offers study courses and self-study resources for numerous financial management certifications. DFAS encourages all its employees in professional financial management occupations to seek certification appropriate to their occupation.

Professional Organizations

DFAS encourages its employees to enhance their networking capability through association with professional organizations. A supervisor or mentor will steer you toward the most beneficial association(s) for you.
