Out-of-Service Debt Account Status Tool

The Debt Account Status Tool is available for current military and civilian employees who have an Out-of-Service Debt and access to a CAC enabled computer.

There are three options to check your Out-of-Service Debt Account Status, including balance and payment information:

Payments can take up to one business day to appear on your account.

After submitting via AskDFAS, a ticket number will be emailed to you for reference and updates. Please keep this ticket number for your reference

Call the DFAS Customer Care Center toll free at 1-866-912-6488. Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. EST.
