System Life Cycle
Documentation Standards

The system life cycle documentation standards are identified under the life cycle phase in which each is created. The documentation standards specify the format and content for all life cycle documents. These standards may be used as templates to help in the completion of documents. Headers and boilerplate text, which must be included in each document, are in regular print in the documentation standards. Instructions or sample information are printed in italics and may be deleted if the standard is used as a template.
