SDI Mission
The Standard Disbursing Initiative (SDI) is facilitating the deployment of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, streamlining disbursing operations, standardizing business practices, and retiring legacy disbursing systems and embedded disbursing functionality.

SDI will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of disbursing for the DFAS customer. SDI will work with the ERPs to provide a single disbursing system that all disbursing transactions will flow through.

The Automated Disbursing System (ADS) is the enterprise disbursing solution.

The Deployable Disbursing System (DDS) is the tactical disbursing solution.


SDI Goals
1. Provide tactical disbursing capabilities to the deployed warfighter.
2. Provide disbursing services to the ERPs.
3. Reduce the number of non-tactical Disbursing Station Symbol Numbers (DSSNs).
4. Retire legacy and embedded disbursing systems.
