The 1996 amendments to the Freedom
of Information Act (FOIA) mandate electronic availability of
certain publicly accessible Agency FOIA materials and other
information routinely made available to the public. This is
commonly referred to as an Electronic Reading Room.
Before submitting a FOIA request,

available in our Electronic Reading Room, or perhaps listed under
another category on our Web site.
5 U.S.C. 552(a)(2)(A)
Records - Final opinions and orders made in the
adjudication of cases that may be cited, used, or relied upon as
precedents in future adjudications.

Finance and Accounting Service does not possess this type of
record.
5 U.S.C. 552 (a)(2)(B)
Records - Statements of policy and interpretations that
have been adopted by the agency and are not published in the
Federal Register.
5 U.S.C. 552 (a)(2)(C)
Records - Administrative staff manuals and instructions,
or portions thereof, that establish DoD policy or interpretations
of policy that affect the public.

U.S.C. 552 (a)(2)(D) Records - Records released to the
public, under the FOIA, that are or will likely become the subject
of subsequent requests.
The
only official versions of these documents are printed or hard copy
materials. If there are any discrepancies between the electronic
version and the hard copy original, the hard copy
prevails.
