“Welcome to the 10^th issue of the DFAS Retired Pay Newsletter. A table has been included in this issue providing the dates that the tax statements and end-of-year statements will be available. Tax statements and end-of-year statements will be available on myPay beginning mid-December. Also included in this issue are the cost of living adjustments for 2007. The CRSC/CRDP Open Season election period will be January 1, 2007 through January 31, 2007. DFAS began VA Retro payments in September 2006 and the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) began issuing payments in November 2006. I would like to wish each and every one of you a wonderful and safe holiday season!”
