Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP) Open Season Update

The current SBP Open Season will close on September 30, 2006.  The Open Season ran from October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2006.  For those still considering, all SBP election forms must be postmarked no later than September 30, 2006. The election form must be signed in order for it to be a valid election.  Being that this is the first SBP Open Season since 1999, it has drawn significant interest with approximately 2,000 new and increased elections received.
