TRICARE Retiree Dental Program Premiums Increase

Some retirees will see a slight reduction in their monthly net pay, beginning with the payment dated May 1, 2006, due to an increase in TRICARE Retiree Dental Program (TRDP) premiums.  Annual rates are in effect from April 1, 2006 through March 31, 2007.

Retirees who have an allotment deducted from their retired pay will receive a Retiree Account Statement (RAS) that reflects an increase in the allotment amount on their Retiree Account Statement (RAS), both in the New pay line on the front of the form and in the detailed information in the Allotments and Bonds section on the reverse of the form.  Retirees who are current myPay users will be able to view and request this RAS electronically beginning April 9, 2006.

Premiums are based on plan options and the location of the enrollee. If the retiree moves or changes the enrollment option, the monthly premium may increase or decrease accordingly.
