Military PCS Travelers: As of January 1, 2012, the PCS Mileage in Lieu of Transportation (MALT) rate is 23.0 cents per mile. This change is effective for all PCS travel commencing on or after January 1, 2012.When you complete a PCS move, you will in-process with your local Defense Military Pay Office (DMPO). Your DMPO sends your PCS voucher to our DFAS Rome, NY location for processing. Your DMPO will provide you with assistance regarding specific entitlement questions you may have. Our DFAS Rome, NY location processes the following types of vouchers for Army members:
- Permanent Change of Station (PCS) moves
- Do-it-yourself / Personally Procured Move (DITY/PPM) moves
- Retirement claims

- Navy Working Capital Fund/Revolving Fund
- Army and the Army Materiel Command

CIVILIAN PCS VOUCHER PROCESSING DATES
Today's date is 16 May 2012. We are currently processing PCS Travel vouchers received in our office as of 11 May 2012.Applies to Army, Navy, DLA, and AMC and RAT Travel. Dates above apply only to manual vouchers processed by DFAS Rome Travel Pay Services. RITA, Relocation Income Tax Allowance, rates for 2011 have been published by Government Services Administration, GSA. RITA Claim processing began 3/27/2012.
