Department of Defense Bankruptcy

DFAS Office of General Counsel, DFAS Columbus, is responsible for preparing consolidated proofs of claim on behalf of the Department of Defense. The main purpose of this website is to ensure that the Department files complete and timely proofs of claim.

DFAS strongly urges DoD organizations to frequently review these databases in order to identify contractors against which DoD may have a claim. DoD organizations should immediately contact DFAS Office of General Counsel, DFAS Columbus, with any such claim.

DoD organizations may also use the databases to determine the current status of any contractor bankruptcy.
