Interactive Leave and Earnings Statement (LES) [Mar 2007 327 KB PDF]

The Interactive LES  allows you read in detail about each section. Simply click on the area in which you are interested; click on the section title to get back to the LES.

Purpose

The purpose of the Leave and Earnings Statement (LES) is to provide the employee with a biweekly record of earnings, deductions, and leave information. The LES provides civilian employees with pertinent and timely information. This form is designated as DFAS Form 1 and is tailored to each employee. Only earnings, deductions, and leave data applicable to the individual employee will be printed.

Information printed will be textual, eliminating the need for the employee to refer to pay, deduction, or leave codes. Remarks based on payroll and personnel actions processed during the pay period will also print on the LES.
