Federal Wage System : Commonly referred to as wage grade employees. Employees who are in a recognized trade or craft, mechanical craft, or manual labor occupation. This also includes a foreman or supervisor having trade, craft or laboring experience and knowledge as a paramount requirement.

Rate of Pay: Pay is an hourly rate based on the prevailing rates in the area . Each pay area is divided into five categories:

-Wage Grade Employee (WG)
-Wage Leader Employee (WL)
-Wage Supervisor (WS)
-Nonsupervisory employees covered by the production facilitating pay plan (WD)
-Supervisory employees covered by the production facilitation pay plan (WN)
